thanks to #trustroots we camped @ kasper's property near #Aljezur. it was so lovely to share time with interesting and inspiring people that we stayed 5 days to chat, eat and help around the house. marc installed a kitchen sink in the shed and fiona mounted the water connection together with one of the other guests.

due some strong rain we realised that our #tent leaked. luckily we had a tube of seam grip glue with us. so we could glue the leaking areas.

@crossgolf_rebel @caos #Couchsurfing.com hat ja 2019 in vielen Ländern eine paywall eingeführt. Einer von vielen Kommerzialiserungsschritten, was aber für viele aktive Community Mitglieder das Todesurteil war.. Warum soll ich zahlen, damit andere bei mir übernachten dürfen. Wieviel Service erwartet jemand der zahlt? usw.

Jetzt Flucht nach #bewolcome.org, #trustroots.org usw. Vielleicht braucht es nicht noch was.

Andererseits Mastodon passt irgendwie gut zur Struktur der Community.

@ajunjahi Es gibt die #Opensource -Alternativen #Trustroots und #bewelcome. In wie weit couchers.org auch open source ist , weiss ich nicht. Toll sind auch #1nitetent im Sommer, um ein Zelt im Garten aufzubauen und #Warmshowers, um #Langstreckenradfahrer zu beherbergen.
