Tonight, two of my player's PCs' (Hazel and Fia) big backstory baddies made their presence known: Locus the Unyielding (Hazel's primary 'Handler' when she was a soldier in Lyria.) and Ardessius, the leader of The Spectres (he is who sent for Fia's assassination as she had been his rival).
The party's ambush of Ardessius was going okay... until it wasn't.
