I finally finished my initial run of #mageknight. It came down to the very last turn of the last tile on the last round, but I did it! It took about 3 hours of gameplay, when all was said and done. I had to split it between last weekend and this because, you know, life and stuff. But I won! The goal was to find the city and I did!

The weekend I was playing Twilight Imperium with some friends and it was *involved*. I think from learning the game to turn two took like 5 hours….

So naturally, I love it and can’t wait to play again. The rules are involved, but the dynamic it creates between players is so engaging and fun. I definitely recommend reading the back of the species card, though! Lots of great lore to inspire your role playing.

*Finally* set up and ready for the first #mageknight run through! There are a lot of pieces to organize the first time, although not nearly as bad as #gloomhaven. 🤣 I need a bigger table!

Watching old Dice Tower videos, and Revolution! from Steve Jackson Games came up. From description given by hosts each player is bidding to sway people with Money, Blackmail, and Power to their rebel cause. So thought, could be a cool retheme for #StarWars. Players are different Rebel factions Saw Gerrera mentioned, swaying Star Wars people and groups to their rebel faction. #ttbg #boardgames
