Adventurous, Cold, and Retro #tabletopmonthly #ttm1
What do you think when they tell you about generating a character with a retro look? My mind usually goes to Indiana Jones, but I wanted to make a different spin, so I added elements from Dash Rendar (Star Wars Shadows of the Empire) and some steampunk to the mix.

#ttm1 challenge: conversion of a frog toy into a #Frostgrave #IceToad.
There. Done. Quickly.
IRL, shit is about to hit the fan.

#ttm1 challenge: converting a cute green frog toy into an ugly #Frostgrave #IceToad.
Using at least 20 years old Milliput paste (no fancy Greenstuff for me yet, thank you) and a toothpick.
The #PoorHammer way is really optionnal for me these days, but it's more fun.
Plus: I had to rush it in the end. (Like "Dinner is READY!" rush...)
Bah... painting brand new #minis would not be much of a challenge anyway.

The themes for #ttm1 challenge being: "Adventurous, Cold & Retro" I'm looking at some old #MageKnight #minis that I could use. The cute green frog, I found it in the street a few years back. I'm still pretty sure I can transform it into a convincing #Frostgrave Ice Toad, and that constitutes indeed a "Tabletop challenge".

The themes for the first #tabletopmonthly challenge being: "Adventurous, Cold & Retro", finishing my #Frostgrave orc warband seems like a no brainer. But I'm not really enthusiast about it... I don't know. Maybe.

So, I'm instantly thinking of a one-shot campaign, possibly using 3.5 rules centered around an artic exploration.
I did take part in a campaign using 3.5 that finished in an icy-citadel mind, so I need to not set it there. I'm thinking possibly a hunt for the Yeti.
5e would be better than 3.5 I'm thinking, just for ease of use and it feels better for one-shot campaigns. Meaning I'm going to have to find another angle for "retro"...
Thinking of writing a one-page dungeon crawl set in the gender-inspired setting. You need to go retrieve some important artifacts for a Dwarven coming-of-age ceremony for someone of a gender that hasn't been born in a couple hundred years in this part of the world. However, the maps are unclear as to the exact location of the old hold, so you'll have to talk to an enclave genderfluid snow-elves that @DialMforMara thought up. Then into the dungeon to get them!
