#EarthDay 🌍 #climateAction question: Considering that Americans have only environmentally abusive options for clothing dryers, does it make sense to install an electrical outlet and drain pipe in every closet to accommodate a dehumidifier?

The idea is that dehumidifying a closet would likely waste a lot less energy than a vented #tumbleDryer. Yes, heat pump dryers exist in the US (barely), and if you can find one it has an absurd price tag upwards of $1k & holds ½ as much clothing.

So, this afternoons challenge is to disassemble our condensing #tumbledryer and find the #leak that I appear to have caused when I moved it last week so I could fix our #washingmachine that wouldn't spindry.

Kind of interesting to apply logical analysis and root cause analysis on domestic white goods rather than complex IT infrastructures.

More instantly gratifying anyway, despite the odd skinned knuckle...
