The theme of tonight's dinner is the children and adults of the Wu family have very different tastes and that I needed to use up some odds and ends. So, we will dine on the following tonight: Tuna casserole (the kids love this strange and kind of gross but good concoction from my childhood), steak cooked in the sous vide (the kids will eat a little, but generally not meat fans), king oyster mushrooms in spicy sesame sauce (spouse and I will compete to eat all of this while the kids think it is nasty), and green beans (everyone will likely eat some, but Ms. 5 is 50/50). Also, I am using frozen green beans tonight. I'll microwave them a tiny bit, dry them a bit in the colander, and finish off in the wok. For green beans I use a little oil, fry to they are a little blistered, add garlic and a tiny bit of sesame oil and finish them up.
