Note to self for #Handbrake once I get off of work:

1. Turn off the autocrop feature on all current presets
2. Change the current presets to #MKV presets
3. Make duplicates of existing presets, setting them back to #MP4 and also removing all subtitles

This will save some time while encoding because I won't have to manually disable subs each time

Also REALLY kicking myself that I didn't look into the autocrop issue because I now have two or so episodes of #24onFOX--a series with 124 episodes, mind you--that are weridly cropped, and I deleted my original #iTunes rips which I think are rare. I think I just need to watch the show, find the episodes eventually, and then *hope* that #Tuneskit still works so I can get my original #iTunes rip back, then re-encode.

I just read that #Tuneskit doesn't do #DRM removal for #iTunes movies anymore that are fairly recent. Most people say it extends to all movies from 2020 and beyond, but it worked for #TrollsWorldTour.

It sucks. #iTunes + #Tuneskit has been the most ethical way for me to acquire #DRM-free visual media. #BluRay discs are still my favorite, especially since it's the only way to get media uncompressed most of the time and it has the highest quality, but for codec reasons, I need to reencode every one of my #BluRay and #DVD rips for my #PLEX server, and that more than doubles the time it takes for me to put something on the server.

We really, really, really need an official and 100% above-board way to just buy #DRM-free copies of visual media. Especially when you have examples like #NBC's #TheSlap, where literally the only way to get it now is through #iTunes.
