In tegenstelling tot vorige week hadden de standhouders en bezoekers deze keer over het weer niet te klagen.

Ik ontmoette een man uit Brabant die een informatie kraam over Turfsteken bemande.

Geen verdienmodel, gewoon op eigen kosten, voor zijn plezier, omdat hij vroeger nog met zijn vader was wezen turfsteken, 200 km rijden, kraam opbouwen,afbreken en info delen. Mooi.

Allereerst lijkt mij dat in Drenthe inderdaad eeuwenlang de minder vruchtbare gronden gezamenlijk werden gebruikt door boeren of schepers, exact zoals jezelf zegt.
Mogelijk waren er geen eigenaren van die grond? Drenthe werd pas interessant voor grondeigenaren toen er veen (#turf) kon worden afgegraven.

Daarnaast kan er een andere verklaring voor het begrip 'woeste gronden' zijn, die een....(2)
