Erwartungsgemäß und trotz aller Ungereimtheiten dient der Anschlag von Istanbul als Vorwand für türkische Angriffe in Nordsyrien und dem Nordirak. Beschuldigt werden PKK und YPG. Bekannt hat sich zu dem Anschlag bisher keine Organisation.
