"More than 1,500 people have reportedly been killed and many more injured and the toll continues to rise as rescue efforts continue," says UN secretary-general in a statement on #TurkeyQuakes (which have also caused death and destruction in #Syria).

"We are determined to do all that we can to help those affected by these earthquakes in the days, weeks, and months ahead," says US Secretary of State Blinken in a statement regarding the #TurkeyQuakes.
