Now trying Ice Cubes app on iPhone. Fascinating. I like the fact that it provides notifications directly to the phone. (Too bad I never get any.) It is now in competition with #tuskerapp. but actually, it’s not a competition, it’s a demonstration. So please, no wagering.

Well, so this is a little weird.

I see a conversation and I open it in #Ivoryapp, it says there are 18 replies. I see what looks like…maybe 6

I share it over to #tuskerapp and bang, I get at LEAST that many replies (maybe more cos there’re some sub replies, etc)

That’s kind of troubling

After a week of use, I gotta say that #IvoryApp has the best experience, hands down. Intuitive and easy - just damn pleasant to use. Totally worth $2/mo.

I like #TuskerApp and wanted to like it more but it acts weird regularly on my phone and doesn’t get the latest toots or only shows 20-ish new toots then nothing more.

What of the overlooked and understated masterdon apps is #TuskerApp. It allows custom menus, has accessibility support with digital wellness options and is less flashy than others but works well and is in active development. @tusker the drafts button going to the top is an improvement. And I like the switch between the post/draft buttons, but they belong where the draft button was before so it can be tapped without moving your hand. #ui #tuskerapp #beta

#IvoryApp is promising - and mostly because it has #GIFs, something my #GenX butt values (i say GenX because I hear the kids aren’t into gifs).

But I’m not seeing an app that’s much better than #TuskerApp, except for the gifs.

And the #IceCubesApp is just buggy.

Installed #IvoryApp to see if it was as good as folks have been gushing about. Immediately turned off that I can’t post without being on a free trial. Their pricing is ok ($2/mo or $25/y, and devs deserve to get paid) but why irritate people right off the bat?

Also trying #IceCubesApp, and posting this in #TuskerApp. We’ll see which one ends up working the best for me & how my brain works.

Testing out both @ivory and #tuskerapp.

So far, I’m digging both, but think I like Tusker a little better.

I was trying out #IvoryApp like everyone else today and also came across #TuskerApp. Noticed that it has a “Draw something” feature when you go to compose a post. Not sure how often I’d use something like that but I haven’t seen that before. Kinda cool.
