#Tutankhamun was buried inside five golden shrines. They filled the burial chamber totally and Howard Carter had to dismantle them in order to get them out of the tomb and to reconstruct them outside. There was no wall between the burial chamber and the treasury in #Tutankhamun's tomb. The view was dominated by an Anubis statue and the golden shrine. This room was only accessed through the burial chamber in 1923 and it was catalogued much later, four years after the finding of the tomb #TutVember #Tutankhamun100 #Archaeology
