“Given the rate at which the planet is warming, scientists predict that low-lying atolls across the Pacific region like Kiribati, Marshall Islands and Tuvalu could be uninhabitable this century, threatening the cultural legacy of the roughly 10 million people living there.
“It’s hard to swallow for Pacific Island nations that have contributed the least to the climate crisis, while rich countries continue to pump out planet-heating pollution.

Bei dem Bild von #Tuvalu fällt mir etwas auf. Die Inseln sind dem Untergang geweiht und auf diesem Bild nimmt den größten Teil der Insel eine Start- und Landebahn für die Urlaubys ein, welche dann wohl die idyllischen Bunkerklos gleich nebenan besiedeln. Irgendwo komisch eine der Ursachen gleich neben der drohenden Wirkung zu sehen.
