Back in the late 70s I was in a band with a brilliant friend, now passed and sorely missed, who was studying voice at the music school and he turned me on to #TuvanThroatSinging and ever since I've always had Central Asian music in my collection. I got to see them back when they were presenting the traditional Tuva forms.
