The back waist is gathered! I did one row of gathering stitches and centered the band over it, which is more efficient than the two you're supposed to do, IMO. And I've used twill tape for the ties rather than fabric for further efficiency! #sewing #TVE47 #HistoryBounding

Nearly done! All that's left is the small bit of gathering at the center back waist + ties, bottom hem, and buttons and buttonholes. (I say that like it's nothing but it will take me a week to do the buttonholes. Not my forte.) #HistoryBounding #sewing #TVE47

And the sleeves are essentially done! The plackets were tricky but look so nice in the end. The cuffs are massive because they sit at the elbow, not the wrist. #HistoryBounding #sewing #TVE47

The tricky to vanquishing executive dysfunction is apparently to pick up a project one hasn't touched in months and ignore whatever else one has been trying to do.
