Kann nicht schlafen. Deshalb denke ich darüber nach, ob es wohl geht, einen #RaspberryPi mit ein paar DVB-T2-Tunern auszustatten und das TV im Haus mittels #Tvheadend via LAN statt via Antennenkabel im Haus zu verteilen. Dann könnte ich quasi hausintern auch noch einen Aufnahmeservice anbieten. Wichtig: Abgleich mit den Mediatheken, damit nix aufgenommen wird, was eh schon online verfügbar ist...

Cable TV and internet went out so it gave me a reason to mount the outdoor TV antenna I had and hook it up to #tvheadend service I had sitting on my server. Also I have #jellyfin and a box set of #firefly I picked up at the library for entertainment.

Is there any decent IPTV player for tvOS? I’m using Tvheadend as backend and TvhClient is fine but the sound is messed up and out of sync when using HomePods. MrMC is also ok, but has sync issues as well. Everything else is garbage? #IPTV #tvOS #TVHeadend

Just got #kodi setup with #tvheadend - so much more polished than #mythtv PITA to build on #slackware though, the slackbuilds.org slackbuild doesn't compile the plugins.

My #ps3 died after a firmware update and my tv is too old to play some channels in australia. Probably time to get a new tv anyway.

Sigh, life is dull.

Keine schlechte Idee.
Auch sonst gibt es in der UI einiges an Verbesserungspotential. Z.b. Personengruppen bezogene aufnahmen, die dann nur bei den richtigen benutzten im #kodi client erscheinen.

i just got a "new" TV and hooked a raspberry pi with librelec to it. It didn ot go all that great because tv headend won't work after the initial scan and it took several tries for me to figure to unplug and reinsert the HDMI Cable

The unstable version of #tvheadend seems to be working on #Debian10 pretty well...as long as I don't do anything too tricky with recordings.

Anybody still using #tvheadend? If so, how are you deploying? Are you using Docker?

After some crashes with 4.2.7 on Ubuntu 20.04, I've switched to Debian 9 and upgraded to a development build of tvheadend (4.3.0). This is the first time I've ever used a development build of software, so we'll see how it goes.

So far, so good.

frage in die bubble: ich versuche #tvheadend aus den quellen zum laufen zu bringen und habe auf pc (amd64) und einem arm board dasselbe problem: aufnahmen scheinen zu laufen, aber nach ungefähr einer Minute (mal mehr, mal weniger) hört er auf, in die datei zu schreiben. kein fehler im syslog- er schreibt einfach nicht weiter. google vermittelt mir den eindruck, allein mit dem problem zu sein - ich suche auf diesem wege nach lösungen. gerne #boost #retrööt ...
