The #tvtropes article for Majora's Mask states that the "you got a mask" fanfare is a remix of the Zelda 2 level up fanfare and that has annoyed me to the point where I almost want to create an account to correct it >:(
#asoka bringing back the space whales was not a place I would have gone.
Really #rebels space whales were a low point for me in that series. It's literally such a bad trope it's a trope namer on #TVTropes
Do writers in the writer's room not have TVTropes.org open at all times?
One says, "I know how to get out of that! We can use FTL space whales, cause Space Is An Ocean!"
And the other says, "um dude TV Tropes has a whole page on that..." https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SpaceWhale

Writers website TVTropes has a good article on “it’s quiet…too quiet” as a dramatic device. It has many examples, but I can’t find Carruthers.
Internet searching throws up people using the “too quiet…Carruthers” trope, but as idiom without attribution.
Sometimes Carruthers is in dialogue with another character, Smythe. Maybe that is a clue to the source.

As far as I can remember, the best that the Terminator film series managed to achieve, when attempting to move beyond the Great Man Theory deceit embedded in the franchise, was to shift it over to "Great Woman Theory" instead.

I think that one of the reasons I am finding this especially frustrating is a result of reading @annaleen 's The Future of Another Timeline which was so good at confronting and challenging the Great Man Theory.

Watching the Sarah Conner Chronicles at the moment because I love time travel sci-fi and the "fight against big tech" feels very pertinent.
While I have been enjoying the moral quandaries the characters have been forced to reckon with, the constant reinforcement of the Great Man Theory is hella frustrating.
Am only on Episode 4 so far, so I'm yet to see if this will be too much of an issue for me to keep watching it.

To date I have only noticed two feature films which have not been featured on #TVtropes: Panic in Year Zero! (1962) is one.
TIL that neither The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit (1956) or The Other (1972) feature in #TVtropes. And the former stars Cary Grant!
Ooooh, I just thought of another fun example: on _The Simpsons_, while Montgomery Burns isn't *always* the Big Bad, he is definitely a villain. Mr. Smithers is definitely his right-hand man. But also, very definitely *not* a Dragon.
(I mean, I could see them doing a bit where Smithers knows ninjutsu or something, and is a total badass. But it'd be a one-off. And I suspect it'd be hilarious.) #tropes #FunWithTropes #TVTropes

Catfishing is the sitcom character's go-to tool for cheering up a friend, and it always goes wrong. Read about it here: https://www.rerunrewind.com/p/sitcom-characters-think-catfishing #sitcoms #classictv #comedy #tvtropes #sitcomtropes #catfishing #catfish

I'm back with a new article about that time in the 80s when every old building in a sitcom turned out to be a former whorehouse. #sitcoms #classictv #tropes #tvtropes #sitcomtropes #80s #1980s https://www.rerunrewind.com/p/sitcoms-convinced-me-every-old-building

I honestly don't think Amazon executives know the difference between DC and Marvel since they released not one but two different Evil Superman shows when there's no Good Superman shows or movies released in the last decade. #TheBoys #Invincible #TVTropes #DeadHorseTrope
