It brilliantly shows life under imperial rule & why people would be willing to say “screw this!” And pick up a stone in their hand and go up against storm troopers.

I've been recording Fire Country and thought about watching Will Trent, but having already seen so many "quirky detective" shows, it just doesn't look that interesting to me. 😕

The only new show I'm really looking forward to so far is Alert: Missing Persons Unit--mainly because I really like Scott Caan.😘

Not brilliant but better than a lot of what you will be directed to on Netflix & Amazon 🤔 is it just me or are other people annoyed that the exact same shows are on all the “different” lists 🤷‍♂️

On this #TVTuesday I caught up on The Shannara Chronicles. It's not great TV, but it's pretty damn entertaining if you grew up on the Terry Brooks series of what seems like a hundred books.

The holiday + ongoing political bs has made it hard to toot recently. Just out of spoons.

So here’s my #TVTuesday toot instead.

We’ve got a backlog of movies that we WANT to watch, but finding 2 hours to watch Logan or Baby Driver is currently one life difficulty level too high right now. So instead, we’re rewatching Parks and Rec, and it is a salve to my bruised psyche.

#tvtuesday Loving husband has studiously avoided any work with acquiring the Japanese language, but because we watch a lot of satellite television, he's learned to recognise, "Aah! Oishii-desu, ne?" (Oh, it's *delicious!*) in a surprising number of intonations and levels of clarity in enunciation.

It's an improvement on "Bikkuri ponnya!" #asagakita #jdrama #asadora

My current watching: Midsomer Murders and Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. The latter is leaving Netflix in 2 weeks and I'm halfway through season 4. WILL I FINISH? (It's what I watch when I'm exercising and I'm not a binge watcher.) We also subscribed to Starz specifically for American Gods--which is a first for us. We've never subbed to a premium channel before. #tvtuesday
