I’m also not a fan of “ “ or other relative descriptions; I think terms like that try to swing too widely away from the stigma of and . I’m all for advocating , but that’s harder to do when the words we use hide the need for adaptation and coping.

@alessa_ed I made the conscious decision long ago to not be a mommy influencer with my blog. Yes, I wrote about my sons, but it was to not feel so alone and to help others not feel so alone. Raising and kids can be so lonely and isolating. I’ve written considerably less about them as they’ve gotten older, to the point that I rarely write about them at all.
