Twitterific was apparently the first iOS app I ever purchased. In 2010! Twitter would never be what it is today without Twitterific other great Twitter clients (I tried so many).
I've been using the #Flamingo app on Android for years now. I use #Tweetbot and #Twitterific on iOS/MacOS. I wouldn't have remained on the birdsite so long without a client. The default app is a hot mess.
