Anyone know of cheap a programmatic way to send group #MMS messages? I've failed at getting #Twilio to do such a thing (tried to follow https://www.twilio.com/docs/conversations/group-texting but the messages aren't delivered).

I feel like there has to be a cheaper/faster option than signing up for another phone plan to use a spare physical phone to do this.

It would be nice to declare success and take the weekend off, but each new thing I got done in my list above has spawned several new tasks that need attention. And the SMS sending platforms' move into pre-registered senders in the US is creating a headache for me that I need to get a handle on. (Thanks mobile carriers and Twilio!)

I've been trying to figure out how to IaC-ify our #Twilio setup at work for a while. I've just managed to successfully generate a #Pulumi provider from Twilio's pilot #Terraform provider using this very cool bridge project: https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-terraform-bridge

It all feels a bit hacky and under-supported (I had to use some makefile changes out of a PR that's sat unloved for 6 months) but... it worked!

#Sendgrid / #Twilio support has become absolutely awful — nobody responding on Zendesk seems to know how their product works or be able to reliably read English. Did they recently lay off all of their support team and outsource or something?

I did it! I just published my first open-source project to Github: https://github.com/codybrom/greenbubble

It's a #PHP script that reads incoming #Twilio webhooks, finds matching keywords in an #Airtable base, then replies with prewritten responses. It also sends a copy to a Slack channel for a gamemaster to monitor. It’s just a toy, but it's core to another experience I'm working on. I've already rebuilt this for #NextJS but felt like I should still publish this as is because it works and I’m proud of it.
