Sunday night will see the #record-setting #heat continue in the Northland with #clear skies and a light #breeze.
#LaborDay will be one of the #hottest on record with mostly sunny skies and a southwest breeze. That will help increase #fire #dangers. A #lake breeze will form along the #NorthShore and #TwinPorts regions.

Several clusters of #showers, with a possible few #lightning bolts, are forming in the #Boundary #Waters and west of the #TwinPorts. They are moving east/southeast.
Again, not everyone will see #rain today and tonight. If you do, don't expect much to fall (<0.25").

Happy #Tuesday #Northland!
Thanks to a #lake #breeze, most of us are enjoying a #cool day with some #drizzle and #fog in the #TwinPorts.
However, the #heat and #humidity is building in the southern region of #Pine and #Burnett counties, and eventually #Washburn and #Sawyer.
Heat #Advisory alerts are in place through Wednesday, where it could feel around 100°.

Most of us are enjoying a #dry and #seasonal #summer day with some sun filtering through the light clouds and smoky #haze.
However, some in the #IronRange are dealing with #showers and #thunderstorms as a front passes through. People west of the #TwinPorts and Highway 53 could possibly see rain through this evening.

A line of thunderstorms is moving towards the #TwinPorts and I-35 corridor. They are not severe, but will still have gusty winds and small hail.

There is a line of #showers and #thunderstorms that have formed just to the south of the #TwinPorts. They are not moving at a fast pace, so expect a decent #downpour if caught in one.
They are not expected to become #severe, but the stronger storms that form in this region of the #Northland will have gusty #winds and small #hail.

After some #showers passed through the #Northland overnight, more are firing up northwest of the #TwinPorts. They will be brief as instability moves south.
The bigger issue is the #wildfire #smoke from #Quebec making its way through.

Overall take it easy outside, especially if you have difficulty breathing.
