Different route to usual for my early morning walk today and I discovered that the paths around #EastLothian's newest ash lagoon are finally open (accessed from close to the bike circuit next to #Musselburgh racecourse).

There are five new bird hides to view from. This lagoon is so new it lacks vegetation, so presently there aren't many #birds for #twitchers to see. Hundreds (maybe thousands?) of saplings have been planted around the site, which will be stunning in a few years time.
