Wow. Wordpress just announced they have to drop support for Twitter in their Jetpack post sharing plug-in as they haven’t been able to reach agreement with Twitter for access. They are committing to adding to support Mastodon!

1. Mastodon's problems are external adversaries
2. Twitter's problems are when their owner gets a bright idea

Wow... that is not a thing one normally plans for. Is there anyway others can help? I assume there is a non-twitter hosted archive you can point the urls to?

(I say "assume", but I guess I mean "hope", because my own tweets were hardly worth archiving, and so when I walked away from the bird site, I did nothing to "export" nor verify an external archive, but again I really do feel the horror of what this could be like for someone who is a social activist and used twitter as a announcement hub)
