I would like to see Twitter decrease by half (so it is less attractive to megalomaniacs and loud billionaires), but Mastodon can't accommodate them all, and that is probably a good thing.

Now that the bird site shows what purports to be a view count for all , it's a good time to resolve not to feed the trolls. Even dunking with a QT gives them engagement they're trolling for. Especially the interim owner.

Am still going to test out Spoutible but 400 character limit is the best he could do really? I toot 500 characters and very rarely get above the limit requiring a thread. The most I toot are usually 200+ characters so I'm guessing that isn't a bad thing but would like for the limit to be 400+
