The Hunter Biden laptop saga (and now #TwitterGhazi) are such obvious bullshit and yet I know a smart person who recently suggested that the "allegations" should be investigated.

It's just a testament to the power of repetition.

(He wasn't talking about the possibility that Hunter didn't report all his income or bought a gun while ineligible, which are the only non-nutty allegations.)

None of these very online rummies will admit it, but #Twitterghazi flopped — nobody cares outside the MAGA bubble. IE, people who already believe conspiracies about censorship and stolen elections.
