@rvawonk Your headline is misleading. The #TwitterHearings exposed a non-transparent relationship between the *FBI* and Twitter. The hearing was held to show the *FBI* had become politicized (or weaponized) against Trump. The #gop proved censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story. At the hearing, Twitter execs agreed they made a mistake. How much was it worth to Biden’s campaign to be able to censor allegations vs. Hunter Biden, including allegations of improper conduct relating to Ukraine?

In one sense, the Dems r right: the #TwitterHearings were a waste of time, but only because D.C. runs itself like a mafia org, where the only way to get someone at the top is on a technicality. The Dems r trying to do that w/ Trump (tax evasion, sex, etc.) but can’t. Unlike Bill Clinton, Trump didn’t commit perjury—he smartly took the 5th. As u can see, political games have always been w/ us, but w/ 24/7 access to info & more expensive races, stakes seem higher.

The election interference angle becomes relevant here: “Of the ppl who were made aware of the Hunter Biden laptop story, 53% would have changed their vote…” according to Rep. Elise Stefanik.
