i could type the hashtag #naturallanguagesearch but i can sorta see it gets zero searches per week

what hashtags can i type to find people who have a similar thought to me? on twitter, you would just type the words in quotes. spaces and all. on mastodon, ...um...

i'm so weird. i mean. i wouldn't be as weird if i could just search without publicly typing but

I occasionally go to Twitter to search for something on my own timeline and have found the results increasingly useless as tweets I know are there aren't surfaced. While I was there today, I also blocked Musk (whom I'd muted long ago) to make the visit worthwhile.

Is the current rationale for staying still supporting other people who are sticking it out, or has that goal post been moved?

I occasionally log onto Twitter to search for something I posted over the many years it was my lazyblog, and it seems like search has taken a big step backwards. I used to easily zero in on keywords to find specific tweets — or a broad range for certain topics — same as I do on my own blog, but recent results have been noticeably incomplete.

Once again, digital history lost to a spoke that was allowed to become a hub. Shame on me.

#Twitter hat den Punkt "Neueste" aus seiner #Suche entfernt, wenn man nicht eingeloggt ist. Damit wird die Suche für "Außenstehende" ziemlich unbrauchbar.
