1, One more mistake by Elon.
2, Bluesky will eat them for lunch on launch.
3, Elon will leave the company.
4, Economic money issues for Twitter
5, Death of X.

Finally just totally *done* with Twitter. Pinned a 'farewell' tweet linking to my Mastodon profile, turned off replies, and deleted the app. I'll leave my account active there, but I'm not visiting anymore.

I can tolerate a lot more stupidity than I probably should, but it really crossed a line.

I'm sure I'm not the only one. Such a shame.

@lydiaconwell @mrbitterness A lot of instances are already limited that way, just from the cost of hosting and maintaining.

If .social and .online did something like that right now, the smaller ones would probably buckle from the load.

Not to mention, 200 times more rage-whining from the #TwitterShitter s because they can't all find each other again. 🙄
