@Clive many many 500 error server on mastodon.green since Friday, i think it’s the pattern of weekly #Twittermigration after the #twittersphere endured another full 7 days of chaos. I am expecting it to quieten down again on Monday.

I've been doing my #Cyberpsychology course for a hot minute, but obviously I find it fascinating as a subject.

Right now I am GLUED to the Bird Site vs Mastadon piece. The mass adoption. The jostling. The friction. The resurgence of the innocent joy of a pre-advertising #TwitterSphere. And who's trying to crack Mastodon first.

Somebody pass me the popcorn 🍿

One day I expect I'll be more comfortable with the neologism Fediverse, but only in the sense that I only slightly tolerate, and with great reluctance, the phrases "twittersphere" and "blogosphere", at least one reason of which is their coinage and usage by marketers and self-promoters who I instinctively take a disliking to as gross and yucky.
