Vested interests - its almost always #vestedInterests infiltrating all parts our modern lives that we need to defend from.
In the 1970s, US congress committees were opened to the public in the name of "Greater #Transparency". Sounds great in theory.
The trouble was those who took the time to watch them were vested interests.
Suddenly #lobbying and #politicalDonations exploded and you get the corrupt #twoParty spectacle of #USelections today.
