Been enjoying the Halloween Baking competition show my Spouse is watching. Spiders are a common theme for a reason.
Of all these type of shows I've, I haven't seen the most realistic scenario---when just one ingredient is not in your pantry and the stores have all closed.

Not Apple pie, but a semblance thereof.
Washed and sliced and diced an apple, put it in a bowl, sprinkled some cinnamon over the bits, tossed with a fork, added half a teaspoon of brown sugar, added 2 pats of butter, tossed again, added 1 graham cracker, tossed again, microwaved for 4 minutes, tossed again.
Pretty happy with this dessert. Didn't add Vanilla ice cream to make it "Ã la mode ", but pretty sure it would be good with it.
This bowl has been in my family since the 1970s. I have dropped it more times than I can remember. This Pyrex ovenware is tough.
I waited 31 years to get a Dinut from this place. "The Donut King" in Eufaula Alabama. And it was worth it. So good.
Drove by here for years. Always loved. I'd thought they'd gone out of business. Turns out they dot have a set closing time, they close when they run out. Which s by noon, usually when I always passed through at 4pm.
