@chadwick Absolutely hear that! Do you happen to own a small pop-up tent? Serious question. One of the best things you can do if the power goes out and temps start to drop is put the tent on a bed, put blankets on top to hold heat, and crawl in with the 1 year old. Bonus heat if you've got a dog you can pull in. Now as for entertaining the 1 year old, let's see what #parents #parenting can come up with.
