No #Bleach episode this week (and for a while) has allowed me to really sit and appreciate this adaptation of the #TYBW arc so far. It’s so evident that a lot of love is being poured into it. Not just through its animation and faithful interpretation of the source material, but a step further with the series’ distinctive implementation of title cards and poems, creating a sense of familiarity for us fans. It was a long wait, but it was worth it.

#bleach #tybw is absolutely everything i could have hoped for so far, absolutely mesmerized by the visual effects and the whole style. it's so beautiful and so different from the old show, and while that one has its own charm i much prefer the new vibe. also the pink!! the pink! incredible decision to make pink the new bleach colour.

The animation in #Bleach #TYBW is outstanding! I hate waiting a week for the next episode but I love having the same nostalgic feeling I got back before the series first ended.

Ever since I read #Bleach chapter 506 the first time, something curious did strike me about Captain Commander Yamamoto's Bankai.

In a sort of ways, his #Bankai is similar to Ichigo's in that it transitions from a huge, too big to be true form (Ryujinjakka, #Zangetsu) to a more controlled, regular-sword-like form (Zanka no Tachi, Tensa Zangetsu).

Then, both are stated to concentrate their power in a smaller area, thus increasing the effect. I always thought it was pretty interesting seeing this development, effectively establishing a parallel between the newcomer and the oldest, most powerful #Shinigami

Of course, it all falls apart when we see the 4 techniques of Zanka no Tachi, all of them boasting HUGE power and area of effect. Would #Ichigo have developed in the same way if he had taken the time to communicate deeper with its "#zanpakutoh". It's hard to say, since he...
