"Run Lola Run" (1998) - 4/4 - I imagine "Lola" was at the forefront of that dunderheaded post-plot movie discussion. Lola is not Lara Croft though - maybe the "Matrix", as even a precursory attempt to untangle the Wachowskis from the film feels like a trilogy of theses. Amid the adrenaline, mixed formats, and dirty 90s, a clear theme does emerge, of Lola running the maze of the patriarchy.
