This is Langley Burn which flows past the castle of the same name and disgorges into the South #Tyne at #HaydonBridge.

Tuesday’s #imageoftheday. The #Egger plant at #Hexham reflected in the waters of the #Tyne on a calm autumn morning. The plant manufactures raw chipboard and is a major employer in the area. Elegant Hexham Bridge dates from the late 18th century, replacing earlier structures destroyed by floods.
