Multiple chimneys of the Duke’s House, wintry scenes and a fine view down into #Hexham and across the #TyneValley during this morning’s frosty walk.

#MonochromeMonday. #HaydonBridge station at night, the down platform for trains from Newcastle bound for Carlisle. The house is now privately owned but once formed part of the station. The level crossing lies beyond the platform. The #TyneValley Line is one of the oldest in England, being fully opened to traffic in 1838.
