@eldris I have a couple of manual typewriters. (And I am old enough to have learned to type on one--a grand Royal Empress!) When I write on my laptop I only space once. When I use the typewriter, I automatically space twice after a period. Muscle memory I guess.

Once upon a time I collected typewriters (25 or so total). I've since sold or given away most of them. Occasionally I'll use one to type a letter or a poem.
