Jan 21 @ 08:19 So I've been up about an hour, Pete has my TRS-MS05 sound system out, he's on his morning nets - well, the local one, first is his CARF.net and then a local net every morning - I enjoy listening to them but don't know how these guys keep everyone's call sign and names straight! This morning they're talking about thrift stores, dumpster diving, side-of-the-road finds and stuff like that, very interesting! I won't be able to sit at my keyboard for a while yet but am totally looking forward to seeing how it sounds...! This will be the first time since I bought the #Tyros-5 it will sound as it was meant to. So I admit, I'm kind of obsessing about that today. Whatever else I do (the usual stuff: cooking & cleaning and moderating and parrot/dog stuff and working on my site, etc. playing my keyboard will probably come first :). In other news we're supposed to see the sun today for a while, and they're teasing me with another prediction of snow tonight/tomorrow...I'll believe THAT when I see it! But am hopeful as always! One last thing: this new RV we live in now is made for 4-season use, super-insulated, thick walls, etc...but it always feels so cold in here! We kept our heat at 62°F in the motorhome and were warmer than at 68°F here. It's been a puzzlement. Then we realized this thing has REALLY high ceilings (we can't reach them)...and there's a ceiling fan at the highest point...we turned that thing on low speed, and problem solved! Now it covers up my Yamaha Tyros4 keyboard and provides a nice backdrop when I'm on camera in daily meetings. Always a good talking point along with the Displate posters.
