Realised last night that I live in a #UnitingChurch bubble. Panel at Readings Bookshop for #TheConversation, in which, while talking about the #IndigenousVoiceToParliament, they said the public wasn’t ready to vote on it, and that if the referendum was lost it would harm discussion for a generation. I guess it’s because of the 1994 Covenant between the Church and the #UAICC, and the 2009 addition of a Preamble to the Church Constitution, but I think we’re ready. https://uaicc.org.au
