I've published my third Ublue inspired image, this time Sericea-Saigon. The excellent nwg-shell by @nwgpiotr is incorporated in the image, only minor niggles to go, but it works already. Check out this Github page:

Update: #ublueit didn't successfully boot, rolled back.

Rebased #silverblue to #ublueit . I love that, whether I stick with it or not, I didn't have to reinstall to try the new OS out, nor would rolling back present much of a difficulty.

What do you think of this as a #UBlueIt feature @jorge?

I don't know where the defaults for the #UBlueIt #Xfce desktop (aka #Vauxite) came from, but if it's straight out of #Fedora, that's great because I highly recommend it.

I have tried two Xfce distros in recent weeks, and I like this one much better. Switch to the dark theme, and you're done.

I did switch back to the #Silverblue remote -- and now I need to try the #UBlueIt Silverblue with all of their extras.

The #Vauxite "flavor" of #UBlueIt was pretty good. Everything worked great. I haven't been in #Xfce for real work in quite awhile. One thing: No software center, so you have to install Flatpaks in the terminal. Not a huge deal, but it's an inconvenience.

I started with regular #Fedora #Silverblue 38 and added the UBlueIt remote for Xfce/Vauxite.

Now I need to install from the UBlueIt ISO. I want an easy, clean Flathub config. where I don't have to do anything.

This is major!! UBlue.it has an alpha ISO. You can install one of the project's custom immutable #Linux systems without first needing to install #Fedora #Silverblue and rebase. Big milestone for @jorge and the #uBlueIt team. https://github.com/orgs/ublue-os/discussions/124
