@MarkRubin @ucupostgrads @ucu Part of a longer and deeply disturbing strategy by the current VC which has seen her close Hastings and Eastbourne campuses, and try to consolidate in Brighton. This resulted in buying out the Virgin Sports lease to reclaim space at Falmer (part of the costs that are now resulting in redundancies) This flawed programme runs counter to founding principles of the University of Brighton which has a long tradition of wide community engagement. #UCU #Brighton #UBSU
