Meer dan 15 jaar lang #Ubuntu op mijn pc's en laptops gebruikt en nu wil ik eens een keer wat anders. Maar wat?

Fedora, omdat het veel recente versies van de software levert?

Of iets met KDE, vanwege de eyecandy? (Dan wordt het KDE Neon, niet Kubuntu).

Maar Pop!_OS ziet er ook wel lekker uit en daar zit standaard al heel veel mooie #maker software bij.

Maar Linux Mint is ook een optie.

Aaargh keuzes! Ik ga ze sws allemaal eens op een Ventoy usb stick zetten om ze uit te proberen.

Nach ewigen versuchen mit dem eingebauten Konfigurationsdings eine Wireguard Verbindung zu bauen habe ich dann endlich UnnoTed/wiregird gefunden.
Nu ist wieder alles im Lack.

Was sollte ich mit einem Rechner ohne VPN anfangen können 😇😂

ホームTL の方が 連合TL の方が範囲が広いようです。おかしなことに。

#mastodon 関係の 3 services をrestart しても、#Ubuntu 自体を reboot しても直らない。

Mastodon v4.1.7 にしてから、ストレージが減少して良い感じと思っていたが、実は連合ができていないせいか？

v4.1.7 との関係は分かりませんが（もともと連合を見る習慣がない）、気になります。

journalctl -u mastodon-sidekiq で ハッシュタグリレーから 500 error が帰っていることは確認できますが。

なんとも実力不足で、まだ修正までできません。

Latest Kodi 20.2 home theatre & media centre software newly backported for #SavOS PPA users of #Ubuntu #Linux is now available at ppa:savouruy1/multimedia (https://launchpad.net/~savoury1/+archive/ubuntu/multimedia) for 16.04, 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04 LTS. Read update at PPA for install info!

Upgrading some old computers at work last week from Ubuntu 18 to 22.04, and this interesting series of shapes popped up during the install process. It was a temporary screen, only there for maybe 20 seconds, but still seemed worth grabbing a picture to show a coworker for a few laughs.

Of the 5 computers I upgraded only 1 had this come up, and it's the computer that I needed to turn on UEFI mode to get through the install (thanks StackExchange!).

I’m in the process of nuking and paving my work laptop to deal with mixed DPI, scaling issues, #Wayland etc. in a dual-screen setup with #Kubuntu 23.04. I just tried the vanilla #Ubuntu 23.04 in a live environment and I’m impressed how most of my problems don’t even exist and how polished the Ubuntu #GNOME setup is! Having switched permanently to #KDE Plasma 5+ years ago (and loving it!), I’m now seriously evaluating a switch back vanilla Ubuntu, if I can’t fix my issues on Kubuntu! ❤️
