The whole privatization of Alberta's public utilities is a cautionary tale of a right-wing political kleptocracy. Drunken liar Ralph Klein assured Albertans they'd be WAY better off with all that competition they were enabling. Of course, Albertans found out the hard way that the opposite was true and Klein's political owners are still walking away with unearned billions.
