How to mount exFAT/FAT partitions as user without all files having the executable bit set in permissions? #permissions #mount #harddrive #udev #udisks

Problem of the day: #udisks thinks that my hard drive is not mounted even thought it is still mounted, cannot mount it elsewhere because it's 'busy' and it was even the same fucking daemon that mounted it in the first place.
#TechAdviceNeeded
allow specific user mount specific partition

Now, any ideas on unlocking a LUKS partition at a non-privileged user's demand?
#archlinux #linux #pam #luks #techadviceneeded #udisks
I have a removable HDD that was encrypted using #LUKS.
Whenever I attach it to my Linux desktop it gets decrypted after I enter the password.
I'm using #udisks for disk management.
After decryption it gets mapped to `/run/media/<username>/<some-uuid>`.
However this UUID changes by one digit every time I attach and decrypt the disk.
Can someone tell me why this happens and how to assign a fixed mount point?
