ハメ込むのが結構難しくて、薄い板が割れないかハラハラしながら製作中。
このまま壊さず完成できるかな？

Okay, das hat Spaß gemacht. Tolles Modell eines ukrainischen Traktors von #Ugears und auf jeden Fall zum Nachmachen empfohlen. Der Panzer zum Abschleppen aus Pappe fehlt noch, der ist noch in der Schachtel.

Danke für das gemeinsame Bauen mit @meet_judith, @angbor3d, @datacop und zeitweise auch @Hetti. Fünfeinhalb Stunden großartiger Spaß. Merci!!!

#WIP My first #UGears model: Marble Chain Hoist.

I’ve only done #ROKR previously (mostly marble runs, of course) and it is a little different.

I wonder if my difficulty rotating 3D objects in my mind is actually an asset for building 3D models, somehow? If it doesn’t have the same orientation as the picture it looks like a different piece so I don’t tend to have to think about whether things are the correct orientation relative to each other. It either looks like the picture or… it might as well be a totally different piece.

I couldn't find my knitting counter and I don't like to use my phone when I'm trying to concentrate on knitting, so I found a workaround to avoid losing count. I took the turn tracker that came with my Ugears DM screen and stole it to track my stitches in my knitting project instead. It's small, lightweight, and doesn't obstruct my needles. I love it when two worlds synergize like this.

I read you can use watercolors to paint a #ugears model, so I experimented with inktense colors on the GM screen. I decided to go for the green and brown, and will try to add some copper wax paste or maybe gold watercolors later on.
The painting on the actual model came out a little uneven because I lazily used a brush pen instead of water and a paintbrush, but I think it will be ok.

我的 #ugears Treasure Box 做好了 第一次認真使用 樹脂顏料，這次用得很有心得，我會調舊化跟讓金色更閃亮亮的感覺了，很滿意塗裝的成果，更有#蒸氣叛客 #steampunk 的風味。 當然這次也證實了 #cubico 確實是 Ugears 的代理商，以後可以安心在他們的網路商店買東西了
