The #Windows11 photo viewer the next/previous buttons on the side of the window. These buttons are very large vertically and extend to the top and bottom of the window, but that's not visible.
Well, putting my mouse in this position causes the "next" tooltip to cover the window close button. And yes, it ate my click.

This is a mastodon question, why does generated link at the bottom strip out the location anchor? It makes it harder to direct people to the EXACT thing that I'm linking too, especially in a post like this that has many different articles.

Know a #UI #design #antipattern that really fries my rice? I hate it when I've dragged my mouse to a button like some kind of animal, and there exists a perfectly good keyboard shortcut to perform that action, and the system doesn't give me a hint.

Ich weiß mittlerweile, dass ich auf die Sendungsinfos (heißt auch bei Podcast so) tippen, um alle Folgen zu sehen. Aber das wird nicht immer angezeigt.
Und in den Vorschlägen ist auch nicht immer die nächste Folge. Warum ist das so?

As someone else said, avoid pronouns without antecedents, and generally write each post as a complete thought.

I just finished the MVP of ULTRAMASSIVE! Now I'm overhauling the visual design. I think the new (top) one looks better. What do you think? Anything I should change? This type of toggle button has to be the most confusing irksome bit of many app interfaces. Especially the ones that say the word e.g. Yes, on the button itself. Should I press the button to say yes, or is it already selected? Is it selected if the button turns blue with white text or if the text turns blue and button is white? I frequently just guess and hope! #UI
