Today is one of these days when not even productive procrastination works. So it's only procrastination. Argh. I have to finish a presentation for the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at #UiO about #DigitalResearchActivities using the @tadirah #TaDiRAH taxonomy and prep a guest lecture for BA students of #Pedagogy about #DigitalMethods they can use for working w/ (historical) textual sources. Motivation: 0. Hopefully, last-minute hyperfocus will kick in eventually! #Neurodiversity

Siste dag idag til å ombestemme seg for høyere utdanning studier.

Jeg har prøvd å finne ut hvor livet mitt skal gå herifra, hvordan jeg best når målene mine på en bærekraftig måte for meg selv.

Jeg tror, men også håper, at dette er riktig valget. Er veldig spent på hva høsten vil bringe. Forskjellen mellom 1. og 2. valg er relativt stor med tanke på karrierevei.

That is good news. That #UiO offers Vivaldi as an install option for Mac. I hope they will do the same for Windows and Linux!

Great that you have a server set up for UiO. That is an important first step.

Still think they should set up their own server. I think the moderation can be handled by giving moderation capabilities to various volunteers. I am sure it would work out fine. It could be led by the IT department, but with help from active students.

@jon @matt @unioslo @Vivaldi #UiO does offer Vivaldi as an install option for all Mac users.

As for the mastodon server, I think moderation is a problem. With tens of thousands of students, it would be rather complex for the institution to have an structure around that. But as @matt says, I think at least the scientific employees should have an account on an hypothetical uio server.

But oh well, Babb.be is dedicated to uio staff and employees, as long as they don’t come up with their own.
