Question for the #cyclists:

I'm looking for a new commuter bike for around £800. I live in the UK, cycling along a route which is mainly next to the sea: lots of salt air, lots of damp weather, a lot of potholes and a lot of wind

I'm after a bike which is comfy, can take mudguards and a rear rack as I have a pannier that carries my computer to work. Disc brakes & dropped handlebars are also requirements.

What would you recommend?
