With winter (probably) soon approaching, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for winter MTB tyres for commuting?

In previous years I've had to cope with a mix of ice, slush, frozen slush, and the usual joyous UK road conditions, and it hasn't been a pleasant experience on standard MTB tyres. I'm currently using 29"x2.25", and I think I've got clearance for 2.5"

Got myself my first new bike in years a few weeks ago and just discovered I have a flat tyre this morning which was a bit of a puzzle, why didn't the tubeless setup seal it when it was a tiny puncture? Oh, that's because I didn't pay enough attention and while it's set up to run tubeless it came with old fashioned tubes installed instead 🤦‍♂️

It really depends so much on your server … mine is limited but as you gradually build up connections, so groups of cycling riders and fans will coalesce

It’s going to take time but then Twitter has had many years of heavy usage to get going
